February Newsletter Includes Ballot and Code for Voting
You should have received your February newsletter. Check pages 5-7 for the ballot. Voting is only online. Your newsletter’s mailing label will have the voting code necessary when submitting your ballot. We encourage all members to vote! Deadline for voting is February 26th.

NEW: Pre-Conference Flyer!
In previous years we’ve sent a pre-conference program with a tentative schedule for the conference. With the search features now available on our web site, this year we’ll be sending a post card with a link to our conference information. Be sure to share this with other colleagues who are not NETA members!


NETA Conference Registration Opened February 1
Check our web site NOW as there is a link for registering for NETA 2010! A printed registration form was included in the February newsletter for faxing or mailing registrations.

BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) & Workshops at NETA
Please check the NETA web site or the February newsletter for a list of BYOL sessions and workshops. There is no charge for the BYOL sessions, but you do need to register for those desired as they are ticketed events with limited number of seats. The workshops will again be hosted at ESU#3 with a shuttle provided for Thursday and Friday workshops. Wednesday night workshop attendees should go directly to ESU#3 as registration materials will be located there

NETA Conference Housing
We’ve just learned that the Embassy Suites rooms are full. However, keep in mind that the Marriott Courtyard is also connected to the Conference Center. The Marriott rooms have free Internet access. The Hampton Inn is very close.

1:1 Opportunity
Arnold Public Schools is offering a Laptop Learning Institute on March 16-27, 2010. One of the initiatives NETA supports is the 1:1 or laptop for every student. Here is the information on the March event:

The ISTE Conference (formerly NECC) will be held in Denver, CO June 27-30, 2010. Use the following link to register. Please choose NETA as your affiliate group so we receive your name as being registered and can alert you to Nebraska events during the conference.
