Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) Sessions - 2010

The BYOL Sessions will be located in the Marriott II Room. For those registered for BYOL sessions, they are to"Bring Your Own Laptop" for all sessions except BF1. The last session listed is a "Bring Your Own Camera" session. These sessions are "ticketed" sessions and a ticket is needed to be admitted. They are free, but attendees need to register either when registering for the conference or during the conference (if room remains in desired session). The registration code in column 1 below is needed when registering. Please try to sign up for these sessions at the same time as when you register. For any special downloads that need to be done prior to the session, we'll notify those who have registered prior to the conference.

BT11 Join the Picnik..it's a walk in the 21st century of photo editing!
FREE, FUN, and EASY photo editing! Picnik will inspire student creativity and bring life back to the classroom. Picnik is a free online photo editing software that students can access and edit at school or at home.  Students can bring in photos from a website, webcam, computer file, as well as social networking sites and more. Finished products can quickly be published for a variety of audiences.

BF10 Make Student Presentations Come Alive Using Keynote
Do you want your students to utilize their creativity and take ownership of their classroom presentations?  Go beyond the traditional use of Keynote and get your students actively engaged in their projects.  In this session, participants will learn how Keynote can be used as a tool to create dynamic multimedia movies.  Participants will learn how to incorporate sound, movies, graphics, and text to create a dynamic final presentation.

Have you had your digital camera for a while, but don't know how to use it yet? This session will teach you to use the features of your camera. Bring your manual or download one from the Internet to help you learn. You'll learn to use the icons and buttons on the camera, how to use the menu, and choose which features you want to use, and more. NOTE: For this session it's "Bring Your Own Camera!"
